Our commitment to energy conservation includes using low-energy light bulbs wherever possible, and we kindly ask guests to switch off lights when not in use. The cottage has also been insulated to the highest standard, ensuring maximum energy efficiency, and all our water is heated with an energy-efficient boiler.

We actively recycle as much as possible and New Forest District Council collects our waste weekly. We recycle cardboard, plastic, glass, newspapers, magazines, and cans.

We take advantage of home delivery services and proudly support The New Forest Marque, a symbol of quality local produce. Many of the area’s hidden gems are best discovered on foot, by bike, or even on horseback. With a train station just half a mile away and a main local bus route nearby, enjoying a car-free break has never been easier. For cyclists, we provide a secure bike shed with an electric bike charging station.
