Room rates and single occupancy surcharge
The price of our suites start from:
Sunday-Thursday – From £70 – Per person per night, including full breakfast and VAT, based on two sharing.
Friday/Saturday – From £90- Per person per night, including full breakfast and VAT, based on two sharing.
From £135 – Single Occupancy
Deposits and payments
To secure a reservation we take a deposit of the first night’s accommodation rate for each room booked.
A booking made with Daisybank Cottage is a contract. We respectfully point out that if you cancel a booking the deposit can only be refunded in line with our cancellation policy
Receipt of a deposit equal to one night’s stay or 25% of the full booking (whichever is the greater) is required to guarantee a reservation. Payment in full required at time of booking for all special offers.
At the point of booking we require credit/debit card details (card number, expiry date, name on card, issue number and security number).
We are happy to accept the balance payment by credit/debit card or cash (sterling or euro at exchange rate on date of payment). We do not accept cheques.
Cancellations
We respectfully remind guests that a firm reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and Daisybank Cottage. Should you need to cancel your booking,this will need to be confirmed by Email.
If your booking is for more than one night the following rules apply:
10 Days Notice- your deposit will be refunded if cancelled more than 10 days before arrival.
Less than 10 days notice- You will be charged the first night accommodation and although we will endeavour to sell your room for the remaining nights ant shortfall in income to Daisybank Cottage will be charged to your payment card. This could be the cost of the full amount of your booking.
Once checked in, if you cut short your stay we will do our best to resell your room for the remaining nights but you will be liable for any loss Daisybank makes. This could be the full amount of your stay.
If you need to move a booking we will be happy to accommodate you with 7 days notice provided we receive an email requesting a change in date. Please note however rates may differ between your chosen dates.
Early departures: In the event of a stay being cut short for any reason, the full duration of each confirmed booking will be charged.
Daisybank Cottage reserves the right to cancel any bookings should extenuating circumstances or errors occur preventing them from proceeding. Please note this is not good for business and would only be through emergency or within ample notice to source an alternative. Daisybank Cottage will not be liable for any losses occurring as a result of such action.
We highly recommend you to take out travel/holiday insurance.
The Small Print
Children: We welcome children of all ages. Please contact us directly when bringing infants as we only accept babies in some of our larger rooms. A cot and high chair will be supplied and there is a nominal charge of £15 per night for 1 years old and over. We can arrange an extra bed in your room for a family member under 18 if you wish at an extra cost of £40 per night and for an adult at an extra cost of £45 per night which includes breakfast.
Pets: Pets are allowed in 2 of our rooms. Please contact us directly when bringing dogs.Medium size dogs are allowed in our dog friendly accommodation. However we ask dog owners not to bring their dogs into the main breakfast area or the other rooms for hygiene and allergy purposes. There is a small charge of £15 per night per pet. Please tell us if you or your dog cause any damage so that we can deal with it before the next guest. Small items we do not charge for, however we must charge for larger items.
Smoking: We have a strict No Smoking policy inside Daisybank Cottage. However you are welcome to smoke outside.
Check in: Check in is between 3.00 and 6.00 pm. If you will be arriving after 6, please let us know in advance. We are happy to store bags for those travelling by train. We do our best to prioritise rooms for early arrivals but we cannot guarantee room availability before 3.00pm.
Check out: Guests are required to vacate their rooms by 10.30 am on the day of departure. Late check-out is available. Until 11.30 noon it is an additional £15.00. We are happy to store bags for those travelling by train.
Please note that we operate a minimum 1 nights stay during the week and 2 nights at weekends. Minimum 3 nights stay is required on Bank Holiday weekends. Occasionally we will accept a stay of 1 night.
Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Earlier breakfasts can be served when arranged prior to arrival.
Parking: We offer secure parking and have recently installed a Rapid EV Electric Charging facility suitable for all cars.The users of the car park do so at their own risk.The Management will not accept any liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred. For cyclists there is a secure outdoor shed to store and charge bikes overnight.
Security and Personal belongings: While we do all we can to ensure that guests’ belongings are safe and secure at all times, we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ property in The Cottage, car park or grounds. Please store valuable items in the safes provided in your room and lock your room while you are out.
Damage: Very occasionally guests cause damage or loss during their stay. We reserve the right to charge for any cleaning or replacement costs.
